Lisa F. Roth

As a journalist for more than two decades, Lisa has been a reporter for many news outlets, including The Financial Times and Chicago Tribune. She has worked on public relations and fundraising teams for several New York-based not-for-profits and also started her own school consulting company to help families navigate the maze of local schools.

Outside of work, Lisa is involved with local groups committed to bringing opportunity and education to all citizens. She is a board member of the Service Learning Project, a Brooklyn-based organization that helps local schools and community organizations create opportunities for students to become active citizens. She is also involved with Facing History and Ourselves, a not-for-profit that engages students of diverse backgrounds in an examination of racism, prejudice, and antisemitism to promote a more humane and informed citizenry.

Lisa earned her BA from Northwestern University and MSJ from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
